Summer Group and School Tours 2018: perfect for camps, scout groups, preschools, daycares and homeschool groups!

Strawberry Workshop (available in June)
20 minutes of age appropriate education and interaction, option to pick strawberries in the patch ($3/quart for strawberries); additional unlimited use of our outside picnic tables (bring your own lunch or pre-order from our deli), play in our children's garden and take home a coloring page! Learn amazing facts about strawberries!

Add a Hands On Strawberry Recipe experience $3 per participant. Kids will make a simple strawberry dessert of grahams, whipped topping and strawberries! They'll learn basic kitchen prep and hygience skills. Makes the perfect ending to a Strawberry Workshop!

How Sweet it Is! Sweet Corn Workshop (available mid-July and August)
Approx. 30 Minutes of age appropriate, hands on education and interaction; unlimited use of our outside picnic tables (bring your own lunch or order from our deli), play in the children’s garden and a take home coloring page! Learn about the different types of corn, how sweet corn is grown and harvested and amazing facts about corn.

Fuzzy, Sweet and Juicy! Peach Workshop (available in August)
Approx. 30 minutes of age appropriate information about how peaches grow on the farm and how we care for our trees. See how amazing this fuzzy fruit really is! Plus unlimited use of our outside picnic tables (bring your own lunch or order from our deli), play in the children's garden and take home a coloring page!

Fall School Tours 2018
(available mid-September through October)

Educational farm tours are approximately 30 minutes of interactive fun and exploration behind the scenes of the farm. Specifically the focus is on how apple trees grow throughout the seasons and students will discover interesting facts about apples, their care, storage, health benefits and many uses for delicious food and treats. The tour also includes an overview of fruits and vegetables that are grown in the fall.
Special needs, autism & life skill support classes of any age are very welcome!
We have a wheel chair accessible hayride that will accommodate up to 3 wheelchairs at one time. In case of any inclement weather the wheelchair hayride cannot operate.
There are no school tours scheduled during the week of Bloomsburg Fair. Groups are asked to arrive 10 minutes before their scheduled start time.
Teachers and classroom aides participate at no cost. Parents and additional chaperones pay the student rates (with the exception of the playland or corn maze addition).
Group minimum is 15 paying participants. Special consideration given upon request.

A group can anticipate approximately forty five minutes for the tour and hayride with an additional 15 minutes for a stop to pick your own pumpkin.

For groups who would like to eat a snack or lunch with us, we have picnic tables available for your use. There is no charge for this. In our store we have hoagies and sandwiches along with snacks and bakery items to purchase.
