Explore ordinary wonders of everyday science with a hands-on program. It's okay to play with your food! Presented by Lydia Kegler and the Columbia County Traveling Library. This is a great opportunity to register for the Columbia County Traveling Library's Summer Reading program too!

June 24th: StrawberryPalooza!
Join
Memie Christie, Penn State nutrition educator for some delicious fun! Learn all about strawberries, enjoy hands on activities and sample some delicious Rohrbach's strawberries - including strawberry parfaits!

July 1st: Pirates on the Farm!
Avast ye Matey, Arrrggg you ready for some fun? Join Victoria Kozlek, Gifted Education Teacher at Southern Columbia, for a pirate adventure! Come dressed as your favorite swashbuckler as we partake in pirate games, stories, and crafts. Please bring your camera. Our young adventurers will learn the art of trick photography as they search for hidden treasure at different spots on the farm.

July 8th:Water's Underground Journey!
Join the Columbia County Conservation District staff and explore a model of a town to see how water moves across the landscape of neighborhoods, roads, farms, factories, parks and forests. Hands on fun with water bottles when we make it rain to see water in action! During the second hour we will construct our own edible aquifer - a very visual and yummy way to see how water moves underground. In the midst of all the fun we will learn about ways we can keep our water clean and safe for drinking!

July 15th:
Happy Hearts on the Farm (Part 1)
Learn how important fruits and vegetables are to a happy heart!! Katie Rude, Exercise Science graduate student from Bloomsburg University will present this workshop filled with fun fruit and vegetable themed relays and events including an obstacle course! Get your heart, hands and feet in action in the fresh air and sunshine. There's a prize for everyone!

July 22nd: Summer Science Fun!
This engaging program is another science themed workshop! Kids can hone their practical science skills of observation, experimenting and predicting - all while having a lot of fun! Presented by Lydia Kegler and the Columbia County Traveling Library.

July 29th: My Plate!
You can play with your food when you join Memie Christie, Penn State nutrition educator, at this Kids Workshop! Learn about the five food groups that are part of growing up healthy and strong! Lots of hands on fun and take home activities!

Join Deborah Platt, local Speech and Language Therapist, for a green-friendly workshop on the fun that recycling can bring. Find out all the ways we recycle on the farm. Complete a hands-on activity that will turn your ordinary household trash into fun art!

August 12th: PeachPalooza!
Join Memie Christie, Penn State nutrition educator for some more delicious fun! Learn all about peaches enjoy hands on activities and enjoy a fresh made, healthy peach smoothie!

August 26th: Unique Me!
The older kids will be back to school so this workshop is designed just for preschoolers! Join Leslie Brecht, Professional School Counselor, for some fun and interactive projects to help preschoolers learn how they grow and are each special. Play a fun fruit/veggie guessing game and take home a specially made project that will help each child remember how wonderful they are!

Rohrbach's recognizes that families with special needs children need the opportunities to plan a family night out! This night will be a special invitation to special needs families. In addition to hayrides, the corn maze, kids play land and apple slingshot will be open ($)! Rohrbach's Food Stand will also be open. DJ both nights!! Drums Alive will be there on Monday the 6th! Pony Rides and Petting Zoo will be open on Tuesday the 14th only ($)

During the month of November in partnership with Kulp United Methodist church we will be a drop off location for warm, new pajamas for kids. PJs will be donated to children in need in our local communities. Bring you PJ donation to our gift shop and receive a drawing slip for a chance to win $50 in Melissa and Doug bucks to spend in our Gift Shop! One winner. Winner will be notified on December 1st.

For a $5 donation/adults and $2.50/children, each guest will receive a ticket to enjoy special store discounts, food and beverage sampling from local restaurants, live entertainment and a chance to win one of many door prizes! Proceeds from the event will benefit AGAPE.
